On May 27th in Geneva at the Kempinski Hotel, a symposium took place focusing on life extension and the hidden resources of the body. Many of the participants’ presentations were dedicated to medications, functional products, and dietary supplements based on peptide regulators with a scientifically proven base.
The symposium was opened by the Director of the Department of Ageing and Life Course at the World Health Organization (WHO), Mr. J. Beard, with a report on the rapid aging of humanity and the WHO’s functional approach to aging and health issues. Mr. Beard emphasized the importance of research in this area.
The audience was intrigued by a presentation from Mr. G. Roth, the president of GeroScience Inc. (USA), about the benefits of caloric restriction and mimetics for humans. Following his speech, the speaker continued the discussion with Mr. J. Beard and the representative from Ideal Pharma Peptide GmbH (Germany), Dr. Med. R. Roitman.
A lecture by Mr. C. Franceschi, a professor at the University of Bologna, on life-extending drugs and anti-inflammatory medications positively affecting the immune system, also generated significant interest.
Professor V. Khavinson from Russia presented a report on the general mechanism of peptide regulation of gene expression, protein synthesis, and vital resources in humans. His peptide bioregulators, studied and confirmed by clinical trials, are extremely safe and effective.
Ideal Pharma Peptide GmbH (Germany) closely collaborates with Professor Khavinson in applying his scientific developments in the field of short peptides for their peptide complexes IPH.
Over 20 participants—scientists, researchers, and pharmaceutical company leaders from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, the USA, Russia, Ukraine, and Georgia—presented at the event.
