Veronika Obkholz, a distinguished figure in the world of dance sports and a three-time German champion, shares her journey, memorable moments, and insights into the world of competitive dancing in this exclusive interview.
Starting Point of Your Sports Career?
“My sports career began when I was six years old, thanks to my mother who took me to a trial dance class. I immediately fell in love with it, found a partner, and gradually began to achieve success.
Over time, sports and dancing became the most important part of my life, all thanks to my parents’ encouragement to try this wonderful sport.”
What Stands Out from the Beginning?
“It’s hard to put into words, but the activity brought me so many friends and a passion. The training, attire, makeup, people, travels, and successes all brought so many positive emotions.”
Most Memorable Victory?
“Without a doubt, the World Championship in Moscow. We put so much time, training, and positive thought into that tournament like never before. The days and weeks leading up to the tournament were filled with eager anticipation! Reaching the final was our goal, and despite visa issues at the airport, the experience remained unforgettable. That’s why the last trophy from the tournament is the most important to me, even though I am a three-time German champion.”
Significant Medals?
“I’ve been dancing for 12 years, and there are too many medals to list them all, including many trophies. But the most important to me are the 3 gold and 2 silver medals from Germany, 10 gold from Bavaria, and being a World Championship finalist in dance sports.”
Use of Sports Nutrition in Preparation?
“Currently, I focus heavily on my diet to get all the necessary nutrients, which is challenging daily. What I’ve recently discovered are peptide complexes added to BCAAs, which have successfully helped increase my endurance and strength.”
Future Expectations from Dancing?
“Dance sports have paved the way for my future profession as a coach, where I can offer thousands of children the same opportunities my parents gave me. Currently, I’m training some pairs, and it’s the best reward for me.”
High-Tech Sports Nutrition in Professional Sports?
“Definitely, yes. Nowadays, most products are sprayed with chemicals daily, and you don’t get enough essential nutrients for a healthy lifestyle. The peptide complex IPH, for example, works wonderfully for the body without any side effects, making it a great way to prepare a sports body for major tournaments or training.”
Message to Athletes?
“I sincerely wish all athletes success in the future, and most importantly, to take care of themselves and believe in themselves.”

Closing Thoughts
“Veronika, thank you for your time and insights! Personally, I find dance one of the most beautiful sports, but it’s also challenging in preparation for programs! Wishing you luck and more victories ahead!”
