Methods for Assessing the Efficacy of the Peptide Complex IPH AGAA in the Preparation of Professional Athletes

Objective

To assess the effectiveness of the drug’s impact on the performance indicators of qualified athletes in the structure of their training and competitive activities.

Tasks

Evaluate the impact of the course use of the drug on the strength and speed-strength qualities of the subjects. Study the effect of the drug on the morphological indicators of athletes’ condition. Study the impact on biochemistry. Anti-doping expertise of the drug. Assess the degree of reproducibility of the obtained results compared to data from previous research. Develop recommendations for the use of BCAA IPH AGAA in the training of qualified athletes specializing in various sports.

Test subjects

  • Qualified athletes (at the level of sports mastery/high sports mastery)
  • A minimum of 10 individuals
  • Sporting specialization in sports with manifestations of strength and speed-strength qualities

Experiment organization

  • Two homogeneous groups of subjects of the same number, divided by a blind method into an experimental (drug) group and a control (placebo) group, and placed under identical conditions of training, nutrition, recovery, etc. (Stages of the annual training cycle of preparatory and/or final pre-competition??)
  • The course intake of the drug and placebo in the respective groups is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s approved recommendations based on regulatory documents of the Republic of Belarus for the use of dietary supplements.
  • Testing of athletes’ performance indicators is carried out twice – before the start of the course of taking the drug and placebo, and after the end of the experiment.
  • The obtained data is statistically processed using the Wilcoxon criterion (Student’s distribution for small samples).

Research methods (in accordance with the tasks set)

Assessment of physical qualities – testing methods (field/stand??) of strength and speed-strength indicators in accordance with the program of staged comprehensive examination in the sports of the MBU training in this sport. Additionally, assess the absence of negative effects of the drugs on the reproduction of habitual motor-coordination/technical skills. Morphological control – determination of body composition and basic metabolism indicators by bioimpedance method. Biochemical control – evaluation of blood biochemical indicators (metabolic AST, ALT, GGT, total protein (residual nitrogen?), urea, creatinine, glucose; minerals – magnesium, iron, phosphorus; hormonal – total and free testosterone, cortisol). Anti-doping expertise – in accordance with international standards.

Reporting format

  • A report of the established form reflecting all sections of the program, statistically processed experimental data, and conclusions.
  • Recommendations for the use of BCAA IPH AGAA in the sports training of athletes of various qualifications and sports specialization.
